Melissa - Director of 1st Impressions

When did you become employed by Great Lakes and why you chose to come here? I started working here in July 2007. I chose to come to Great Lakes because I wanted to work for a company that not only cared about its customers, but its employees as well. I enjoy working here because I have seen firsthand the care and concern they have for not only their employees and customers but for the community as well. Great Lakes contributes to several local organizations. I believe they go above and beyond what is required of any heating and cooling company. The concern they have for their customers is incomparable.

Personal History: I was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, but have been here long enough to be considered a “Hoosier”. I am the youngest of 3 girls. I have a 14 year old son, Steven, who is a 21st century scholar and enjoys watching and participating in a variety of sports. He stays pretty busy as he plays on the baseball, football, basketball and wrestling teams at the middle school he attends and is hoping to play college football for the Michigan Wolverines.

Favorite Product: My favorite product is the G71 furnace because of its modulating gas valve, its efficiency and its ability to lower heating costs.

Hobbies: I enjoy working around the house and gardening. My family enjoys cooking on the grill and spending time together watching college and professional football games. We also enjoy watching and attending NASCAR races.
